Math still a struggle for MCHS students

Overall, MCHS was in the middle tier of schools in the state in most of its testing results. It was in the top one-third of schools in Biology and Math II, but in the bottom third in Economics with over a 50 percent failure rate.

The test is generally administered twice per year, fall and spring, covering the previous semester’s work in eight categories. However, Madison County administered its test only in the spring.
