Madison Co. man receives three-year prison sentence

A Madison County man was recently sentenced to three years confinement after pleading guilty to one count of criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark.

Troy Lee Wood, 31, 2182 Adams Clarke Road, Commerce, was also sentenced in Madison County Superior Court to 12 months of confinement for aggressive driving and another 12 months of confinement for leaving the scene of an accident.

Must have been tried in a county other than Madison. Here that would have only garnered a couple months probation.
