Actions filed recently in Madison County Superior Court included:
•Jonathan Samples, 19, 2139 Hillard Road, Bowman, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $200 fine for one count of misdemeanor theft by taking.
•Elbert David Loggins, 38, 85 Seagull Road, Bowersville, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $100 fine for one count of misdemeanor theft by taking, reduced from a burglary charge.
•John A. Wagner, 54, 113 Jarnigan Drive, Athens, was sentenced to 12 months probation, a $100 fine and 40 hours of community service for one count of obstruction of officers.
•Brian Benjamin McCarty, was sentenced to two years of probation and a $200 fine for two counts of obstruction of officers. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.
•Russell Edward Flanagan, 33, 93 Jack Sharp Road, Hull, was sentenced to six months probation and a $150 fine for one count of misdemeanor public indecency.
•Michelle Diane Baxter, 30, P.O. Box 678, Lula, was sentenced to 12 months probation, a $100 fine and 20 hours of community service for giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer. She was also sentenced to two years of probation for two counts of drugs not in original container.
•Cathy Michelle Fowler, 29, 603 Maplewood Lane, Hull, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $200 fine for one count of misdemeanor theft by taking. A charge of felony theft by taking was dismissed.
•William Ricky Daniel, 50, 5736 Commerce Road Hwy. 98, Ila, was sentenced to six months probation and a $100 fine for the false report of a crime. A second charge of false statements/writings/concealment of facts was dismissed.
•France Marie Wilson, 64, P.O. Box 41, Crawford was sentenced to 12 months probation and an $800 fine for one count of reckless driving.
•Brandon Jordan, 27, 17 Azalea Village, Crawford, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $250 fine for one count of theft by taking misdemeanor. A burglary charge was dismissed.
•Tara Elizabeth Sosebee, 34, 257 Bonds Lake Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to six months probation and a $100 fine for one count of cruelty to children in the third degree.
•David Allen G. Cameron, 25, 9875 Twingate Drive, Alpharetta, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $1,100 fine for one count of reckless driving (reduced from DUI alcohol).
