A Hull man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Danielsville Road at Lombardy Drive in Clarke County around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
According to a report from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, Cedric Bush, 38, died when his 2007 Suzuki struck the rear of a 2001 Suzuki driven by Lindbergh Simmons, 41, Hull. Bush’s motorcycle went down and he was thrown into the southbound lanes where he was struck and run over by a southbound 1994 Chrysler LeBaron driven by Elmer Pierce, 40, Athens.
Bush and Simmons were riding together and are members of the same motorcycle club. Simmons and Pierce were not injured.
