Colbert man charged with DUI after wreck

Shaun Douglas Nelms, 31, 724 Strickland Circle, was charged with weaving over the roadway, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on suspended, canceled or revoked registration and DUI/alcohol.

According to the incident report, officer Jeffrey Strickland responded to the scene where he found the vehicle resting on his side and several First Responders attempting to help Nelms out of the vehicle. He also noticed numerous Budweiser bottles lying around the vehicle. Nelms reportedly admitted he had been drinking and submitted to a roadside breath test, which tested positive for alcohol.

•Javier De Jesus Aparicio-Ruadales, 19, 102 West Richland Drive, Greensboro, furnishing, purchasing, and possession of alcoholic beverages by persons below legal age.

•Ronnie Keith Beck, 53, 6050 Maysville Road, Commerce, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, DUI/alcohol, reckless driving and three counts of terroristic threats and acts.

•Reshunda Latrice Bell, 31, 412 Brownwood Drive, Hull, disorderly conduct.

•Sharon Ann Bray, 52, no address listed, weaving over the roadway, DUI/alcohol and open container. (GSP)

•Jerry Eugene Brock, 66, 283 Margret Circle, Canon, probation violation.

•Roschell Susanna Brown, 28, 2505 Danielsville Road #10, Athens, holding for other county.

•Jason Dale Donoho, 31, 98 Hudson River Church Road, Ila, probation violation.

•Erich Flesch, 34, 344 Hickory Hills Road, Danielsville, probation violation. (Madison Co. magistrate court)

•Anthony Terrell Hall, 27, 460 Norwood Circle, Athens, driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Melinda Lenz, 43, 547 Evangelical Church Road, Danielsville, hold for Gwinnett County.

•Wilbert Adonay Lopez, 32, 102 Massey Lane, Athens, driving without a valid license, weaving over the roadway, seat belt violation and driving without a license.

•Bobby Joe Money, 39, 430 Sherwood Circle, Danielsville, theft by taking, financial transaction card theft and two counts of financial transaction card fraud.

•Keith Matthew Roberts, 23, 132 Jones Road, Athens, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, speeding and marijuana possession less than an ounce.

•Robert Michael Scogin, 37, 719 Scogin Road, Colbert, driving while license suspended or revoked, no tag, knowingly driving motor vehicle on suspended, canceled, or revoked registration and no proof of insurance.

•Fredric Lamont Sims, 38, 234 Madison Avenue, Colbert, DUI/alcohol, speeding and open container.

•Bonnie Claire Stith, 30, 3443 Five Forks Road, Bowman, deposit account fraud/bad checks ($499 or less).

•Dennis Michael Wills, 32, 453 Lakeview Circle, Danielsville, head/tail light requirements, DUI/alcohol, violation of conditions on limited driving permit and hit and run, duty of driver to stop at or return to the scene of an accident.
