Three arrested after fight on Hwy. 106 South

Michael Paul Gibbons, 27, 4570 Hwy. 106 South, Hull, and Anthony Paul Cooper, 22, 81 Williams Wilson Road, Hull, were each charged with battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor.

Gibbons, who was the complainant, told officer Andrew Wilkes that he and “Bozo” Cooper were fighting when the juvenile kicked him in the head and left the residence. He said he wanted to press charges on the juvenile. Officers went to the boy’s home and were given permission by his mother to speak with him. He stated that he was at Gibbons’ residence and everyone was drinking and that when Gibbons and Cooper started fighting, he tried to break them up. He said Gibbons struck him and that he might have also struck Gibbons, but that it was in self-defense.

Officers found Cooper hiding in a closet at Gibbons’ residence. He stated that he and Gibbons were fighting, but they were just playing and that the boy misunderstood and tried to break them up, striking Gibbons in the process. All three were arrested and the juvenile was turned over to his mother. The men were taken to jail.

•Terry Michael Roach, 57, 201 Arthur Road, Hull, was charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs after an officer found him stumbling along Glenn Carrie Road.

•Milton Omar Carrasco, 29, 125 Jennings Mill Road, Athens, no tag, open container, driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI/alcohol and weaving over roadway.

•Stephen Gregory Chick, 30, 1011 Community Drive, Union Point, probation violation.

•Stephen Fraendo Clark, 28, 755 Clark Drive, Winterville, probation violation.

•Jeffery Lee Cooper, 39, 81 Colonial Drive, Colbert, driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Frank Jerry Crews, 40, 1852 Cornish Mt. Road, Covington, five counts of financial identity fraud.

•Elicia Michelle Dockery, 42, 264 North 4th Street, Colbert, speeding and DUI/alcohol. (Comer PD)

•Jeffrey Alan Embrick, 47, 344 Minish Lake Road, Commerce, hold for Jackson County.

•Arthur Lee Haley, 55, 295 Burkland Drive, Athens, sexual offender – failure to register/provide false information.

•Stephen Scott Hamilton, 25, 2554 Hardman Morris Road, Colbert, burglary.

•Calvin Lee Hullender, 41, 555 Vaughn Road, Athens, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana possession less than an ounce, DUI/drugs and weaving over roadway.

•Martavious Deion Jarrell, 19, 5498 Jot-Em-Down Road, Danielsville, possession with intent to sell/deliver/distribute/display, or provide a minor any drug-related object.

•Aubrey Brent Martin, 31, 507 Gilstrap Road, Alto, theft by receiving stolen property.

•Joshua Adrian Minish, 28, 4023 Booger Hill Road, Danielsville, failure to report an accident with injury or damage and driving while license withdrawn.
•Justin Lee Neese, 38, 76 Stone Ridge Drive, Colbert, reckless conduct, child or youth restraint not used properly, prescription drugs must be in original container, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, driving while license suspended or revoked, safety belt violation for 8 year old or older and improper stopping on roadway.

•Justin Lee Parham, 21, 164 Hwy. 98 East, Danielsville, DUI/drugs.

•Charles Andrew Parr, 29, 1492 Watson Mill Road, Carlton, possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Jesse Smith, 38, 154 Freeman Fowler Lane, Danielsville, probation violation.

•Leslie Shawn Smith Stamey, 37, 866 Old Kings Bridge Road, Nicholson, theft by deception – felony.

•Stanley William Swain, 48, 5984 Hwy. 52, Gillsville, hold for Jackson County.

•Robert William Tanksley, 48, 605 Paoli Road, Carlton, probation violation.

•Benito Valdez-Gonzalez, 28, 4280 S. Lee Street, Apt. F2, Buford, DUI/alcohol, driving without a license, reckless driving and weaving over roadway.

•Richard Glenn Wells, 24, 86 William Wilson Road, Hull, possession and use of drug-related objects and probation violation.

•Gae Ann Whitehead, 39, 333 Christmas Circle, Colbert, good behavior warrant.

•Ronald Gilbert Whitehead, 50, 118 Kingston Drive, Comer, good behavior warrant.
