Cruelty to children, battery reported on Edwards Lane
Officer Bradley Free went with a DFCS worker to the child’s residence where they talked with the child’s mother, who said her boyfriend had administered a spanking to the girl and a sibling after they refused to eat their dinner. She stated that “they had to give the children several different whippings before they would eat their food.”
She said she put cream on her daughter’s legs afterwards and kept her out of school the following day to make sure she was OK. She said her boyfriend usually disciplines the children when they won’t listen to her. All three children were removed from the home and turned over to their grandmother while the incident remains under investigation.

When Smith arrived, he observed the woman, with the child in her arms, walking away from the residence while the man was cursing and yelling from the doorway. The man began to walk toward Smith, continuing to curse and yell, all within earshot of his son. He smelled of alcohol, Smith noted, and said he had had two mixed drinks and taken Xanax. Now, all those who think spanking is perfectly acceptable and effective: Resorting to spanking means a parent has not done proper parenting or is too impatient with proper parenting, but most likely means they have no idea at all about child development and parenting because they don't care or are simply too dim-witted to grasp it. Got it, folks? Rinse and repeat.
He may have done wrong also it might have been handled different . My own mother would have just told me eat what was there or go to bed hungry and not allowed me to have anything else . I either ate or went to bed and I didn't starve .
The next morning I was hungry as a mule and I began to eat and be thankful for the food from that day forward, regardless what was put on the table for me to eat .
Stop spoiling your children mothers and stop trying to always be their friend. Sometimes you have to be a parent also. Its wrong to expect the Husband or BF to always have to be the bad guy.
For those of you who set here behind your monitors and phony names, tying these people in a court of opinion or gossip and without fact ,I say unto you ,judge not less yee be judged .
"you who sit here behind your monitors and phony names"
You, JC, are full of crap.
