A man was killed in a three-car accident at the intersection of Hwy. 29, Irvin Kirk Road and Fowler Freeman Road Wednesday.
The victim was Arthur White, 74, from Canon.
The accident happened at approximately 1:15 p.m. when White, who was traveling north on Hwy. 29, attempted to make a left turn onto Irvin Kirk Road and was struck from behind by a woman driving a light green Volkswagon.
The impact spun the victim’s vehicle into the southbound lane, where it was struck by a southbound truck. The victim was ejected from the vehicle.
