Newt Gingrich won his home state of Georgia in the Super Tuesday Republican primary. He also carried Madison County with 52.3 percent of the vote.
Only 27.3 percent of Madison County’s registered voters — 3,817 out of 13,994 — hit the polls in the presidential primary.
Gingrich picked up 1,996 Madison County votes, while Rick Santorum had 985 (25.8 percent). Mitt Romney had 582 (15.26 percent) and Ron Paul had 224 (5.9 percent).
President Barack Obama received 122 votes in Madison County in the uncontested Democratic presidential primary.

Unfortunately, your point is unclear despite your grand education...since your comment lacked substance. Please, try again.
However, with that being said, I did not vote for Newt in the primary due to the fact the he is the quintessential Washington politician and would bring the "business as usual" presence to Washington. We need the outsider who has the potential to get the economy back in line and restore confidence in the American economy to the small businesses and investors.
I voted for Obama in 2008 and Romney is the only GOP candidate who would get my vote in the Presidential election. Santorum got my vote in the Georgia primary (funny how they let just any ol' registered voter cast a primary ballot), but I would vote for Obama if Santorum, Gingrich, Cain, or any other "tea party" lunatic makes the ticket.
Carry on.
Puts us that much closer to a brokered convention
where the people might actually have a time to voice the vote on who we want for President rather than have them ram one of their candidates down our throat again .
All theses candidates keep saying that they are the only ones that can beat Obama .
Sounds like they have forgotten one important fact here and that's We The People and with our vote we will be the ones who decide that want we ?
Well perhaps not if we have more voter fraud or our electoral college decides once again our fate for us .
The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise -- with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.
