If I take my dogs through a car wash, all they see is water and brushes and it makes them set off a howl like one of those full moon kind of howls. I’ve noticed that saying most anything about Obama that isn’t sweet and fluffy seems to set off that same sort of howl. Nothing I say can get through to my dogs, and nothing short of sweet, fluffy and lies would reach the Obama howlers. I might as well be speaking a language from another planet for all they hear.
Last week on the O’Reilley Factor, I heard a Dr.Hill, who is an Obama supporter, say that he felt that Obama “is like Jesus,” and that if Jesus were on earth, “he’d be more radical than Obama is.”
Some call Obama compassionate and gracious. I don’t call him that at all. Since I choose to read a job applicant’s resume before hiring for a position, I’ve read those of Obama and John McCain. From those resumes I’ve learned that Obama doesn’t’ have as much political experience as many of our own local politicians have.
Obama’s strong points are in the fields of law and talking. If I needed someone to talk the talk, I’d consider Obama, but I want a leader with experience and background who can talk the talk and walk the walk – and that’s John McCain.
Obama has managed to label everyone who disagrees with him as a racist, including the Clintons, who did more for civil rights than Obama has ever done (Obama labeled his own grandmother “a typical white person,” and said that she was afraid of all black men).”
The Obama mantra is “well, you know they’re gonna tell you that he’s got a funny name, and that he doesn’t look like all the faces on the dollar bills – he’s black.” (Maybe he feels all typical white people are afraid of black men because of his grandmother?) I don’t know, I’m not a psychiatrist, but I do see a pattern that spells “racist” – and it’s from Obama.
I’ve asked black people why they are voting for Obama. They have almost always answered that it’s because they want a black man in the White House. Some of the women said it’s because they feel it will help black men as well as the country and that a black man should be there before a white woman.
As for the Democratic Convention, I see it as a sham. The Democratic Party isn’t what it used to be.
President Bush isn’t perfect, but he’s done a good job during some of the hardest times America has ever faced.
So, if the Obama howlers want to label him a racist, I feel I’ll be in good company.
But I never argue with howlers.
Sincerely,

Makes me wonder.
It’s ok to have:
1) Black History Months.
2) Black Colleges.
3) Black Biker Weeks.
4) Black Churches.
5) NAACP.
But if there are:
1) White History Month, that is racist...
2) White Colleges, that's illegal...
3) White Biker Weeks...no such thing, "biker weeks" are open to all ethnicities...
4) White Churches, that's unChristian...
5) NAAWP, there would be riots and legal challenges...
Seems to me that the racists are the ones who want to keep themselves separate from everyone else, regardless of which "group" they belong to.
Black! White! Pink, Yellow, GREEN!
You can't stop "racism" if you are constantly setting your "race" apart from other "races". Get with the program, people. We are all one RACE. Ethnicity, gender, geographic location, social status...they can ALL be used to justify your prejudices.
It’s just an EXCUSE to treat other people differently, or to gain an advantage over someone else (or some other group). The past is history, but if you don't LET IT GO and focus on working toward a better future, the results are the same conflicts that we pay lip service to preventing.
Why do we need a "black" president or a “white” president? If you're voting based on ethnicity, either for or against, then you ARE a racist, and it doesn't matter if you are black, white, or BLUE, you ARE a racist.
Vote for the candidate that you believe will do the best job for our country. Period.
