Jere Ayers ceremony set for Mon.

A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m., Sept. 8, at the intersection of Hwys. 98-72 to dedicate a portion of Hwy. 98 to the late Madison County newspaperman Jere Ayers. Hwy. 98 from Comer to Danielsville will be named the “Jere Ayers Parkway.” Residents along that road will keep the same mailing address.
