Paving project by feedmill expected to proceed in early July

Industrial authority engineer Phil Munro told authority members Monday that Atlanta Paving and Concrete Construction Company, Inc. should begin the project around July 5. The company will have several weeks to complete the project, but Munro said he was informed that the company anticipates 10 days of work to get it done.

Last year, the authority approved a $274,300 contract with Atlanta Paving for the work. Madison County received $300,000 in grant funds from the Appalachian Regional Commission for the project.
