D’ville man charged with pedestrian under influence

Christopher Arlington Scott, 50, 600 Horace Reed Road, was charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

According to the incident report, officer Brandon Moss arrived to assist EMS and two other officers who were already on scene. Moss noted that Scott appeared to be “noticeably intoxicated.”

When Moss asked him what happened he reportedly said he was “walking to jail to turn himself in” and that he had consumed three 24-ounce beers. After refusing treatment by EMS at the scene, he was handcuffed and transported the short distance to jail.

In another incident, another Danielsville man was arrested after an officer was dispatched to an “affray” on Cliff Griffeth Road.

One of the alleged combatants, John Edward Green, 46, of 155 Sherwood Circle, was found to have an outstanding warrant for theft by taking. According to the incident report, officer Justin Hanley went to the scene where a man told him he and Green were going down the road when they got into an argument. He said that both had been drinking. The argument escalated and Green allegedly told him he would “whoop his $%%.” The man said he told Green there was “nothing there but air and opportunity.” They then pulled over to the side of Cliff Griffith Road and began to fight. After they got back to the residence, Green took off walking. Hanley found him walking on Colbert Grove Church Road at the church and arrested him on the outstanding warrant.

•Tyrone Davis, 39, 7048 Midland Road, Midland, GA, open container, driving while license suspended and DUI/alcohol/controlled substance.

•Robbie Lee Gunter, 32, 74 Buddy Moore Road, Lot 9, Colbert, probation violation.

•Kellie Anne Hale, 35, 124 Highlands Drive, Winterville, failure to appear.

•Tonya Charlene Heard, 49, 547 Jones Street, Elberton, driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Adam Lee Martin, 25, 45 Wolf Creek Trail, Bowersville, theft by shoplifting.

•Phillip Scott Moon, 35, 317 Vineyard Creek Church Road, Comer, DUI/alcohol/controlled substance present in blood/urine and weaving over roadway.

•Leanne Morrow, 47, 104 Nobel Road, Carlton, DUI/alcohol.

•Teresa Lynn Porterfield, 45, 119 Archer Road, Colbert, battery FVA and cruelty to children in the third degree.

•Scottie Dale Pressley, 29, 57 Pace Drive, Nicholson, probation violation.

•Epifanio Linares Sanchez, 30, 1525 Danielsville Road, Lot 36, Athens, driving without a license.

•Tonya Lynn Seay, 29, 684 Ed Coile Road, Hull, theft by taking and theft by shoplifting.

•Margaret Anwinna Viers, 53, 925 Wolf Skin Road, Arnoldsville, theft by taking.

•Christopher Ray Wilson, 32, 71 Bond Road, Danielsville, failure to register as sex offender/failure to comply with requirements/providing false information.
