Ok no way the vote wasn't rixed now they catch a guy doing it how many didn't they catch I mean they have a 90 year old man taking up the cards it's not like it would be hard to switch things around and half the time no one is watch the cards they need a beter system I feel our local elections are rigged as it is. This is just proof.

I'm not really sure, but I think the card you hand back is cleared for reuse; When you "submit" your vote, it is recorded electronically in the data base and the card is cleared.

The card altered was a voter registration card, not a card that they hand you to take to the election booth.

I hadn't thought of that, but I am not familiar with a "man taking up the cards" meaning voter registration cards. My registration card stays at home when I vote so the only card I could assume was the plastic ballot card.

He's facing 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. I wouldn't start the "mission accomplished" thing just yet.

I would remind this voter that elections are not a sports venue nor are they popularity contests like in high school. The attitude by this poster towards the serious responsibility asked of voters reflects why this country is failing. Us against them. Tribalism. No thinking; no questioning; no open minds. And there are just soooo many like this! It's what causes politicians to stoop so low in their campaigning rather than offering ideas and solutions on which to judge them. Evidently, there's a whole lot of people out there who are easily manipulated, especially emotionally. I suppose it's just the nature of the beast, but I would ask folks to try harder or just stay home and let the rest of us make these serious decisions.

Shafiq supported Kip.That speaks volumes. The school personnel put Kip back in. They didn't vote for the best candidate...just like unions.
