ROYSTON – Hazel Carey Mann, 101, died Sunday, August 19, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Franklin County on April 17, 1911, the daughter of the late Hoyt Irvin and Neal Lowe Carey. She was a homemaker and member of the Pennington Chapel United Methodist church. Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her husband, Chandler Edwin Mann; daughter, Annette Hooper, and a son, C.A. Mann.
Survivors include grandchildren, Donna Perry, Danielsville, Karen Dickerson, Columbia, S.C., Joy Strickland, Gainesville, and Michael Maxwell; and great-grandchildren, Robert, Kayla and Chandler Perry, all of Danielsville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 22. The family is at the home of Marc and Donna Perry, 925 Double Branch Rd., Danielsville.
