Jeffery Couch (9-7-12)

Jeffery Jerome Couch, died Friday, September 7, 2012.

A native of Clarke county, he was born October 23, 1955, the son of Weyman B. and Shirley Ann Couch. He was a 1973 graduate of Cedar Shoals High School and was employed by Tivoli Condominium Association. Jeff never met a stranger and everyone loved him. He was a skilled hardworking man who was always willing to help anyone in need.

He was the beloved father of Mandy Ralynn Couch, Winder, Candace LeAnn Couch-Hipp, Flowery Branch, Jeffery Justin Matthew Couch, Winder, and Anthony "Scottie" Hughes, Princeton, Ky.; brother to Renee and George Bonner, Colbert, Paula and Rick Stuchell, Danielsville, Christy and Ken Carr, Colbert, Bart and Kendra Couch, Auburn, Scott Couch, Hull; papa to Jeffery Dylan Christopher Hipp, Bobby Dawson Carter Hipp, Bailey Elizabeth Colee Hipp, Jake "Diggy D" Couch; and the former husband of 29 years to Liz Couch.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held Friday, September 14, at 3 p.m. at the Princeton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Carpenter officiating. Family and friends will gather at Lord & Stephens East at 2 p.m. prior to the service to process to the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at the funeral home.
