MCHS softball team to play Thursday for trip to Columbus

The Madison County fast-pitch softball team split with Heritage-Catoosa on Wednesday night to force a game three Thursday evening at 5 p.m. at Raider Field. Madison County lost game one 6-0, but rebounded in game two behind a long three-run home run by Ivie Drake to take the 5-4 win. The winner of game three will advance to Columbus for the Class AAAA Elite Eight tournament.
