Wednesday fire guts Madison Co. home

A Wednesday morning fire gutted the home of Robert and Lisa Kent of 231 Minish Cemetery Road in Madison County.

Officials said the blaze was likely started by a clothes dryer.

The Kents, who were not at home when the fire started, lost everything in the house. Those interested in helping the Kents can call 770-295-9116 or 706-335-5087.

Ila, Neese-Sanford, Pocataligo and Commerce Fire Departments responded to the blaze.
