The Madison County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, in the county government complex.
Agenda items are as follows:
•Chairman’s report. (Chairman Anthony Dove)
•Business involving guests, groups or multiple visitors.
•Report from IDA – Marvin White.
•Statements and remarks from citizens on agenda items.
•Consider supplement for district attorney’s office. (Chairman Dove)
•Consider beer and wine appeal for Amir, Inc. d/b/a Kwik Chek. (Chairman Dove)
•Consider beer and wine appeal for Country Superette and Neese Grocery. (Chairman Dove)
•Consider allowing Chairman Dove to sign a two-year service contract with Philips Healthcare to cover bench repair and preventative maintenance for EMS. (Jason Lewis)
•Consider renewing maintenance contract with EMSAR for stretcher maintenance. (Jason Lewis)
•Consider accepting grant for equipment from Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission. (Jason Lewis)
•Consider job description for EMS Training Coordinator position. (Jason Lewis)
•Consider reappointment of Lamar Hughston to the Planning and Zoning Board. (Commissioner Jim Escoe)
•Consider service agreement with Software Systems Unlimited, Inc. (Chairman Dove)
•Consider adding Tracy Morgan as a part-time employee at the Food Bank with no benefits. (Commissioner John Pethel)
•Consider Resolution for Board of Elections and Registration. (Mike Pruett)
•Consider 2012 Beer and Wine Continuation License for Tiny Town Minit Market (Amanda Singh). (Chairman Dove)
•Consider temporary part-time help for cleaning the courthouse during change over with Whitworth. (Chairman Dove)
•Consider any budget amendments if needed. (Chairman Dove)
•Roads update. (Chairman Dove)
•Urgent matters. (Chairman Dove)
•Review Jan. 7, 2013 agenda for business meeting.
•Statements and remarks from citizens.
•Closed session to discuss land acquisition, personnel matters and/or potential litigation (if needed)
