Two brothers were arrested recently after an altercation at their home on Blackberry Lane.
Jeremy Hanley, 39, 58 Blackberry Lane, Danielsville, was charged with aggravated assault, simple battery and cruelty to children in the third degree. His brother, Wesley Hanley, 33, of the same address, was charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the third degree.
According to the incident report, officer Josh Fowler went to the residence where he met with the men and their father. The two apparently got into a fight after their father asked one of their children to get off the computer. The two began to “fuss,” with J. Hanley pushing his brother to the ground. They then began to fight, with both falling onto a wooden table and breaking it. They then began to hit each other with pieces of the table. J. Hanley reportedly had a red mark on his forearm and W. Hanley had a knot on the back of his head. Both were taken to jail.
Other arrests on file at the sheriff’s office this week included:

She then told officers that her 8-month old son was inside with Jackson, so officers kicked open the door. After a struggle, Jackson was handcuffed and taken to jail.
