Collins talks guns, health care, debt with Chamber

Everyone always talks about the Constitution and they seem to forget why we have it. It was written in a very thought out process to protect us from the form of Government I feel we have today. The Constitution was written to prevent such actions and limit the Governments power . Not the peoples Liberty.

Look to the Declaration of Independence to see why we have it and what it was designed to protect us We The People from. It would seem as if most if not all in the Federal government today don't think they have any rules to follow or that the Constitution just gets in their way . As it should!
Here is just a couple of things that were written in the Declaration that we as a people might want to start pushing for.

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

I would ask that everybody find and read this its entirety to understand why when the Bill Of Rights were added that the very first two Amendments that were at the top of the list and why they deemed them so important to Liberty and a free citizenry.

The actions of this Government in my opinion have reached just such a point .

So how will we go about the task of altering or abolishing it if not by use of our Second Amendment Right.
What we have today is continued provocative actions by a Federal Government that could only lead us into absolute despotism and actions that could only be beneficial to tyrants or a dictators.

James Madison went to the Federal Convention of 1787 convinced
that it faced no greater challenge than finding some means of
checking "the aggressions of interested majorities on the rights of
minorities and of individuals." He left it still fearful that the new
Constitution would not effectually "secure individuals against
encroachments on their rights." in his best known contribution to
American political theory, The Federalist, No. 10, Madison again
voiced his great concern that majorities were enacting laws
"adverse to the rights of other citizens," and he went on to define the protection of the individual
"faculties" of men as "the first object of government."

Some may misunderstand and take completely out of context what I said in my previous post. I in no way advocate violence only as a last resort in defense of life and liberty. I only bring up the point of what our founders original reason for putting the Second Amendment into the Constitution was. I just hope people can be rationale and stand fast without panic.
The real and only solution to the Gun Violence in our Nations schools is to find the true cause.
The facts are out there and its not the firearms. Its the War On Kids.
Coupled with the many mind altering medications that are now pushed on many of them by the big pharmaceutical
companies and the School system. There is a very good documentary about this called The War On Kids. I have long said before I ever saw this documentary that I never remembered kids being all doped up on all that stuff when I was growing up. Some of the side affects include violent uncontrollable outburst of rage ,depression and the list goes on.
My God how could we allow this and say its in the best interest of our children that we proclaim we love so much. This really says volumes about who we have become. Its not good either. I think everybody should take the time to watch this documentary .
