T-Ball and pitching machine registration under way

These sign-ups are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the recreation department’s main office at 1345 Hwy. 98 West from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 15.

Registration will also be held Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The following programs will be offered by the recreation department:

•T-Ball: coed, non-competitive league for ages 5 and 6

•Boys’ Pitching Machine: ages 7, 8 and 9

•Girls’ Pitching Machine: ages 7, 8 and 9

The age control date for T-Ball is May 1, 2013. Players must be 5 by that date in order to play and cannot turn 7 before May 1, 2013.

The age control date for the boys’ and girls’ pitching machine leagues is May 1, 2013. Players cannot turn 10 before May 1, 2013.

A copy of the players’ birth certificate must be provided at registration. The registration fee is $35 per participant. This includes their game T-shirt. Out-of-county participants will pay an additional $25.
