An employee of BB&T Bank in Hull was charged with stealing a customers debit card last week.
Kelsea Jean Felix, 22, 724 Virginia Lane, Hull, faces a charge of financial transaction card fraud.
According to an incident report at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, officer Brandon Moss was dispatched to Ingles March 13 where he spoke with a woman who said the BB&T Bank debit machine on Hwy. 29 took her card the previous night. She said the clerk at the bank told her the card was not at the bank. After she left the bank, she saw a $144.98 debit to her account from Ingles as well as gas at Ingles.
An Ingles employee recognized Felix on the store surveillance camera showed at the time the debit was made.
Moss showed a bank manager a receipt from Ingles that had been signed and the manager said she believed the signature was Felix’s.
In a separate incident, a Bogart woman arrested recently after she wrecked her car on Wildcat Bridge Road.
Lashayla Quanta Cunningham, 32, 260 Stonehenge Way, was charged with giving false name, address, or birthdate to law enforcement officer and speeding in excess of maximum limits after she allegedly wrecked her car on Wildcat Bridge Road last week. According to the incident report, officer Justin Hanley spotted her while on patrol nearby going at 74 mph. He began to follow her, but lost sight of her on a hill and then saw that the car had struck a power pole as Cunningham tried to turn onto Cheek Pulliam Road.

•Joey Wayne Bishop, 43, 697 Bishop Carey Road, Danielsville, possession or a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
•Gabriel David Black, 31, 310 Piedmont Road, Hull, burglary, first degree.
•Thomas Jerry Haley, 63, 97 Grady Lane, Danielsville, public indecency, criminal damage to property and theft by taking (felony). (Danielsville PD)
