Aggravated assault was reported in Diamond Hill Trailer Park after a woman who was hiding in the Diamond Hill Grocery Store said her boyfriend had kicked her in the calf and punched her in the back of the head.
Deputy Jason Luke and EMS personnel could find no obvious signs of physical contact. Her boyfriend, who was at a mobile home in the park, told Luke no altercation had taken place. The victim was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center by EMS “because she stated she had a brain tumor and wished to be checked out.”
