A Winder man was sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to three years confinement on meth and burglary charges.
Nicoali J. Nielson, 30, 1105 Chestnut Oak Circle, Winder, was sentenced to three years confinement and seven years probation for burglary in the first degree and possession of methamphetamine. Nielson was sentenced to one year probation for possession of marijuana — less than an ounce and theft by receiving stolen property. He was also fined a total of $2,920.
In a separate case, Jason Lee Hattaway, 36, 11768 Wildcat Bridge Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to six months confinement, four-and-a-half years probation and was fined $975 for possession of hydrocodone. Prosecutors chose not to seek convictions on charges of possession of methamphetamine and safety belt violations.
