Three men were arrested recently on theft charges after a number of stolen items were found at a residence on Della Slaton Road.
Roy Dwayne Ruis, 18, 5828 Pine Road, Doraville, was charged with one count of theft by receiving stolen property and three counts of theft by taking.
Kenneth Dewayne Dalton, 18, 1758 Pine Valley Farm Road, Comer, was charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
Toby Shane Kennedy, 20, 880 Horace Reed Road, Danielsville, was charged with one count of theft by receiving stolen property and driving while license suspended.
According to the incident report, investigators Cody Cross and Jimmy Patton found a new air compressor and power tools in a shed at the location after following leads regarding several thefts.
While in the front yard of the residence, Ruis allegedly rode by on a dirt bike with someone following him. The officers gave chase and Ruis jumped off the dirt bike and fled on foot. There were numerious tools inside the vehicle, which was driven by Kennedy, as well as a small dismantled motorcycle in the trunk.
Kennedy was arrested at the scene and warrants were issued for Ruis and Dalton.
