In The Madison County Journal I found it in abundance. I am awestruck at the amount of information you and your staff put out. With a staff of three, the paper presents results from five towns’ government meetings and several county boards, covers seven schools, regularly attends community events, publishes comprehensive sports pages, writes features, and deals with the editing and publishing of many other items such as press releases, church news, historical news, social news and photography.
I especially appreciate the relevant information about how and where to vote, and the fact that you dedicate space to lists of meetings occurring and where to go to attend them. In my opinion the aim of a paper is not only to inform but to connect citizens with their government, and The Madison County Journal carries out that task consistently. I know that attending endless meetings or events can become tedious, especially when they take you away from your families at night. But I do appreciate the dedication and professionalism evident in the result. Thank you.
Sincerely,
