Hull woman faces DUI, drug charges

Tonya Michelle Huff, 32, 1276 Old Elberton Road, was also charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, driving while license withdrawn and giving false information or false name to a police officer.

According to the incident report, a search of Huff’s Dodge Intrepid yielded suspected crack cocaine inside a crack pipe. Huff was also found to have a suspended license.

Others arrested by law enforcement officials in the county last week included:

•Lisa Mae Occhipinti, 47, 1176 Hull Road, Athens, battery and interference with a 911 call.

•Charlie Albert Whitley, 23, 293 W. Hancock Street, Athens, two counts of battery FVA and three counts of cruelty to children.

•Jon Mark Bradley, 21, 120 Candlestick Drive, Hull, battery and interference with a 911 call.

•Erik Neil Lord, 20, 679 Piedmont Road, Hull, bondsman off bond charges: two counts of possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. VGCS, DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, no insurance and expired vehicle tag or decal.

•Charles Ross Burkhalter, 30, 534 AC Smith Road, Commerce, probation violation (original charges: suspended license and driving on a closed road).

•Christopher Neal Jones, 24, 3350 Hwy. 51 South, Lula, probation violation (original charges: theft by receiving stolen property).

•Hettie Lee Lowery, 48, P.O. Box 526, Ila, bench warrant (failure to appear – original charge: deposit account fraud).

•Amanda Joyce McCoy, 32, 211 Belhaven Lane, Hull, possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. VGCS cocaine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, DUI/drugs/alcohol, no insurance, driving while license withdrawn, failure to drive within a single lane and expired vehicle tag or decal.
