As of Tuesday at 4 p.m., 4,058 of Madison County’s 16,154 registered voters — or 25 percent — had visited the registrar’s office in the county complex in Danielsville to take advantage of early voting.
Early voting is being held office hours will be extended from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. the week prior to the election, Oct. 27-31. There will be no early voting the day before the election, Nov. 3. For more information on early voting, call the registar’s office at 706-795-6335.
