Couple arrested for DUI, narcotics possession

Norris Llewellyn Watkins, 47, 210 Lavender Road, Athens, was charged with DUI/alcohol, driving without a license and expired vehicle tag or decal.

His passenger, Peggy Sue Fleeman, 45, 21 Sherwood Circle, Danielsville, was charged with drugs to be kept in original container and three counts of illegal possession of controlled substance.

According to the incident report, deputy Michael Free was dispatched to Hwy. 29 after a caller reported a white Jeep all over the roadway. Free stopped the Jeep on Moriah Church Road at Johnny McElroy Road. The driver, Watkins, told Free that he was taking his girlfriend to the hospital. The deputy noticed that Watkins had a “strong odor of alcohol” and that his speech was slurred and his eyes glassy.

After Watkins was arrested for DUI, an ambulance was called for Fleeman, who said she was diabetic and not feeling good. A search of the vehicle produced a pill bottle under the seat containing several different types of narcotics, which Fleeman stated were hers, though the bottle had another name on it. Fleeman was transported to an Athens hospital and warrants were issued for her arrest on the listed charges.

•Timothy Earl Dalton, 40, P.O. Box 658, Colbert, possession of arms by a convicted felon and first offender probation, drugs to be kept in original container and expired vehicle tag or decal.

•Roberto Gonzalez, 34, 8 Shady Lane, Winterville, driving without a license and failure to drive within a single lane.

•James Waymon Hires, 22, 428 Wynn Caudell Road, Carnesville, probation violation (original charge: failure to maintain a lane, etc.).

•Miguel Angel Maldonado, 36, 1070 Old Elberton Road, Hull, probation violation (original charges: DUI, suspended license, fleeing, etc).

•Alexander West Ogden, 23, 243 Creek Drive, Hull, theft by taking.

•Cody Emory Sharp, 19, 937 East Paoli Road, Carlton, theft by taking and probation violation (original charge: theft by taking).

•Andrea Janese Skelton, 37, 2409 Winterville Road, Athens, two counts of theft by deception.

•Terrance Terrell White, 28, 6000 Smokey Road, Athens, two counts of probation violation (original charges: possession of cocaine,
possession of marijuana, DUI, obstruction, failure to report and failure to pay fines).

•Odell Keith Wilson, 40, 127 Madison Boulevard, Colbert, failure to report sex offender registration.

•Frederick Oneil Brooks, 35, 1793 David’s Home Church Road, Comer, theft by taking.

•Timothy Eugene Couch, 45, 3503 King Hall Mill Road, Bowman, criminal damage to property.

•Tyrone Angelo Cox, 38, 317 Burklane Lane, Athens, driving while license withdrawn and driving while tag is suspended.

•Victor Alfonso Delrio, 24, 200 Forest Lane, Colbert, criminal trespass.
•Brenda Kay Dyer, 43, 394 Fleeman Brown Road, Hull, bench warrant.

•James Leonard Hochstedler, 33, 1046 Mathis Road, Danielsvile, DUI.

•Alex Lafayette Morgan, 27, 195 Sunset Road, Acworth, hold for Barrow and hold for Cherokee County.

•David Wesley Norris, 23, 12 Eustus Carter road, Danielsville, probation violation.

•Juan Carlos Podesta, 30, 250 Sun Grove Road, Colbert, driving without a license and failure to stop for a stop sign.

•Joyce Elaine Rawlings, 46, 80 Archer Road, Colbert, failure to appear.

•Juan Alberto Rodriguis, 26, 210 Davis Street, Hull, expired or no driver’s license.

•Marjorie Anne Shelnutt, 48, 2275 Wagners Grove Church Road, Colbert, DUI.

•Jason Star Smith, 20, 3880 Hardman Morris Road, Colbert, possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Travis Oneal Statom Jr., 22, 319 Deertriger Landing, Athens, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude, driving while tag is suspended,
speeding, failure to drive within a single lane, expired vehicle tag or decal, driving while license withdrawn, no insurance and tires.

•Cody Wayne Tittle, 18, 295 Double Branch Road, Danielsville, theft by taking.
