The Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter announces its first-ever “Frightening Feline (and Canine!) Fest”. Animal Shelter personnel invite area families to join them on Friday evening, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. for games, face painting, goodies, and, of course, a chance to pet the animals.
“We wanted to do something for the kids in our area,” said vet tech Katie Griffeth.
“We love our animals, and we want to give kids a chance to come by and enjoy a fun evening with us. We have plenty of games planned, and we promise that children (and their parents) won’t be disappointed,” she added.
Shelter employees have been busy gathering goodies, discussing decorations, and planning games for this new event. “I think we’re as excited about it as any child could be,” said Tanya Pfeiffer, who also works at MOAS. “This is something we’ve never done before, and we’re hoping lots of folks will join us.”
Make plans now to join the fun at the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter at 1888 Colbert Danielsville Road for Halloween fun, shelter officials said.
