A robbery suspect in Clarke and Oglethorpe counties is also suspected of robbing the Hwy. 72 Golden Pantry in Hull on Monday, Nov. 3.
According to the incident report, a clerk at the store called 911 around 11:30 p.m. to report that a white male wearing camouflage robbed the store, taking $40 in cash from the register. The man, suspected to be Bradley Wayne Williams, 23, 1322 Community Drive, Union Point, is also a suspect in a number of robberies in Oglethorpe and Athens-Clarke Counties.
He left the scene in Hull reportedly driving a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am.
Police in Athens-Clarke County arrested Williams that same evening after he allegedly robbed several convenience stores and fast food restaurants there.
No injuries were reported in the Hull robbery.
