Danielsville man charged with enticing a child

Glenn Allen Waite, 21, 1004 Miller McElreath Road, was charged with a single count enticing a child for indecent purposes (special presentment/grand jury).

According to the incident report, deputy Danny Bennett responded to a Miller McElreath Road home where the girl’s mother told him that Waite had asked her daughter to go for a walk with him and then asked her for sex when they got away from the house.

According to the report, the girl said she told him “no,” but that he began to unzip his pants and she walked away from him back to her residence. Waite then reportedly came back to the house and told the girl’s mother that it was “only a joke that had went bad.” The girl told Bennett that Waite didn’t expose himself to her in any form and did not touch her.
