The Madison County Board of Education (BOE) made the following personnel moves at its Nov. 11 business meeting.
•Colbert Elementary School — approved leave without pay for paraprofessional Donna Compton.
•Comer Elementary School — accepted the resignation of paraprofessional Danielle Andrews; granted the transfer of Felisha Fitzpatrick from clerical work at Danielsville Elementary School to a paraprofessional position at Comer Elementary School; and approved the hires of Brittany Worley and Alexis Hill as after school program workers.
•Danielsville Elementary School — approved the internal transfer of Jeannie Huff from half-time paraprofessional to full-time clerical work; the internal transfer of Tracey Ingram from full-time paraprofessional to half-time paraprofessional; and hired Brenda Meadows as a Pre-K paraprofessional.
•Madison County Middle School — approved maternity leave for teacher Sabrina Howard and approved Michael Barger as Howard’s long-term substitute; approved maternity leave for Amy Brown and approved Bob Thomas as Brown’s long-term substitute; accepted the resignation of school nutrition worker Tina Hill and hired Tonya Harper as her replacement and also hired Mary Douglas as a school nutrition worker.
•Madison County High School — were informed that Tosha Riden declined a proffered caregiver position.
•Student services — increased paraprofessional Sharon Swaim’s weekly hours from 30 to 40.
