LETTER: Appreciates support of Thanksgiving dinner

“Simon, son of John do you love me? “Yes Lord, you know I do”, then Jesus answered, “Take care of my sheep.” We are all Simon and today you fed His sheep!

We had a wonderful, productive Thanksgiving because of your love and generosity. We at Proverbs 11:25, through Carmine’s Restaurant, in conjunction with Bethel M Church and ACTION, were able to reach out to the Madison County community and thanks to you, we fed 600 people.

We had wall-to-wall volunteers and people streaming in with food and a willing heart. So many came to deliver we had to put them to work in other areas. If I were to name all who came it would take this entire page, but we know who you are, and most importantly, God knows.

Everyone missed Carmine, however his presence was felt by all of us, as we continue this ministry he loved so much. With your help and God’s blessing we will continue to do whatever we can to help our neighbors.

God tells us in his word, “He who blesses others will himself be blessed,” Proverbs 11:25. That is the foundation of the ministry started by Carmine so many years ago. Thank you for your support, we could not have accomplished God’s work without your help.
