From the news that you may have missed recently, President Obama and the Democrats are looking for ways to get around any Supreme Court ruling that they do not like. This threat is related to several cases before the Court, including Obamacare and the Arizona Immigration Law. What was the first presidential election you can remember? For me, it was the 1952 election between Gen. Dwight David Eisenhower and Adlai Stevenson. I was attending the University Demonstration School in Athens. I have mixed feelings about the Charter School controversy. I strongly support the concept of charter schools. Charter schools gives the faculty and administration more freedom to explore and innovate, and to design their schools to best meet the needs of their specific community.
