Dear Editor:

While waiting to meet my husband on a recent Wednesday, I was sitting in an adjacent parking lot to the Athens Clinic of the Veterans Administration on Hwy. 29. I watched as what appeared to be an ordinary man leaving the building, I became a little curious as to why he had on white gloves in this heat.

Dear Editor:

Clear thinking. This is what Zach Mitcham (“Dump all incumbents message misguided,” July 15) is worried will be clouded if the citizens of Madison County retain their grievances against the board of commissioners (BOC). Accordingly, messages like “dump all incumbents” are angry generalities devoid of clear thinking. Well, if clarity of thought is what Mitcham seeks, perhaps it will be of some service to enlighten him.
