Commissioners agree to meet with former county clerk about termination

The board of commissioners agreed Monday night to honor former county clerk Morris Fortson’s request for a conference with them. Fortson, who was suspended with pay on Nov. 18, pending a termination date of Jan. 6, requested the conference in a response letter last week to the board concerning his termination. [Full Story »]
